Coast Guard to honor crew who saved 3 from yacht that struck Charleston jetties

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The U.S. Coast Guard Sector Charleston will hold a recognition ceremony Wednesday to honor four members of the Charleston Harbor Branch Pilots for their efforts in saving boaters in distress.

In March, the Coast Guard said it was alerted to a 58-foot yacht that struck the jetties in Charleston Harbor and was taking on water.
