NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The owner of a North Charleston daycare has been arrested on allegations that she failed to report an alleged case of child abuse at the facility.
It was the second arrest in connection with an incident that investigators said happened in July at Sweetgrass Christian Academy on Remount Road.
A 75-year-old daycare worker was accused of yanking, forcibly shaking, and hitting an infant, in addition to slamming the child into a crib. The worker was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.
