North Charleston harvest fest returns Oct. 18 with music, art, and seasonal festivities

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The City of North Charleston will host its 12th Annual Harvest Festival on Oct. 18, offering an afternoon of live music, art, children’s activities and seasonal fun in the city’s Olde Village.

The free event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. along East Montague Avenue near Park Circle. The street will close to traffic from Jenkins Avenue to Virginia Avenue beginning at 2 p.m. and remain closed for the duration of the festival, city officials said.

Highlights will include live music from Charleston-based party band Flash Mob, trick-or-treating on the street from 4 to 6 p.m., a pop-up petting zoo by Crosswind Farms, games, crafts, inflatables, photo booths and a mechanical bull…
