North Charleston man sentenced for 2020 murder-for-hire

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – A Charleston County jury convicted a North Charleston man prosecutors say was hired by a prison inmate to kill a man in 2020, the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

Quinton Anthony Taylor was sentenced to life in prison by Judge Bryan Doby on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, solicitor’s spokesperson Ashley Kay said.

The jury returned the verdict on Friday afternoon after a weeklong trial, she said.
