CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The City of Charleston will offer free parking at three downtown garages starting Monday afternoon in anticipation of potential impacts from tropical weather.
Tropical Depression Nine formed Saturday morning and is forecast to gradually strengthen into what will eventually be Tropical Storm Imelda by Saturday night. The system had maximum sustained winds of nearly 35 mph as of the National Hurricane Center’s 2 p.m. advisory.
