While King Street is the main thoroughfare for dining in Charleston, petite restaurant Merci stands out as one of the few restaurants tucked away in a residential area. Husband-and-wife duo Michael and Courtney Zentner opened the Pitt Street bistro as an ode to their travels in Europe. The offerings lean French, with hints of the American South.
