MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Oceanside Collegiate Academy Principal Christina Brown has resigned after a decade of leading the charter school, the school’s board and management company announced Sunday.
Brown, who cited personal reasons for stepping down, was among the school’s original leaders when it opened in McClellanville before moving into its permanent campus in Mount Pleasant.
“We would like to thank Christina for her decade of service to the students of Oceanside Collegiate Academy,” Board President Chris Swisher said in a statement. “She has been an important part of the growth of OCA from its early days in a temporary facility to its current growing campus. We are grateful for all she has done for Oceanside.”…
