NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — An 18-year-old is facing charges after officers with the North Charleston Police Department discovered a stolen gun during a traffic stop.
Around 2:15 a.m. Thursday, officers were conducting proactive patrols near local hotels when they observed a vehicle with defective tag lights pull out in front of them. The officers stopped the car and noticed a smell of marijuana, according to the police narrative.
