Deputies arrest Ladson man after 60 grams of narcotics found in traffic stop

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office announced announced Tuesday, the arrest of a Ladson man after nearly 60 grams of narcotics was discovered.

Jason Wyndham, a 50-year-old, was charged with trafficking Methamphetamine in a quantity of 28 grams or more.

According to the report from deputies, they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which Wyndham was a passenger, due to a moving violation. A preliminary investigation prompted deputies to deploy a k9 to conduct a free-air sniff test of the vehicle. A probable cause search was then conducted where deputies reportedly located drug paraphernalia.

When Wyndham was searched deputies reportedly located a concealed package that contained a crystal-like substance that field-tested presumptive for Methamphetamine. The total weight of the narcotics was recorded as 59.2 grams…
