CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — October’s 2nd Sunday event on King Street has been cancelled as major coastal flooding has impacted the area over the last several days.
Organizers said that in order to keep everyone safe and dry and help those working to clean up after the flooding downtown do so unencumbered by increased foot traffic, King Street’s monthly closing to vehicles is cancelled for Oct. 12.
