SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Poor weather on Sunday prompted the long-running Summerville Italian Feast to postpone its annual festival, leaving many businesses worried about their pre-made food and desserts going to waste.
The event was scheduled to take place in Hutchinson Square; however, constant rain, flooding, and gusty winds forced organizers to postpone the event for the safety of vendors and attendees.
“Due to the continued forecast and unsafe weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Summerville Italian Feast,” said event organizers. “This event means so much to our community, our vendors, our sponsors, and especially to the students and teachers we support, which makes this decision even harder.”…
