Man accused of hit and run approached North Charleston officers asking about ’employment opportunities’

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A man accused of a hit-and-run that happened in September was arrested Monday after asking patrolling officers about employment opportunities in the city.

37-year-old Nathaniel Lamar Gailliard Jr. is charged with failure to stop for blue lights and sirens, unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon, driving under suspension, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
