Charleston County Council votes to change ordinance on discharge of firearms

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – Charleston County leaders approved an amendment to the firearm discharge ordinance on Tuesday night for unincorporated parts of the county.

Council members voted unanimously to support the amendment after its third reading. The amendment aimed to limit the random discharge of firearms in urban environments.
