CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The legal fallout regarding the Dockside Condominiums that were subject to a city-ordered evacuation in February continues.
According to legal documents, William Wiggins, an owner of one of the units within Dockside, is suing an insurance company and the homeowner’s association for allegations of fraud, breach of contract, and neglect.
Wiggins claims that the association was aware of the serious structural concerns at the property, which would eventually require its evacuation, yet failed to disclose those facts to him before his April 2022 purchase.
