CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston’s Public Safety Committee is set to meet on Tuesday, and they plan to discuss important updates to the juvenile curfew and how to distribute grant money to the Charleston Fire Department and Charleston Police Department.
First on the docket for discussion is how to allocate a Security Grant Program award, which totals $832,600. The committee is set to approve the award and discuss the three areas that will receive the funding.
