Curfew impacts downtown Charleston businesses

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – King Street business owners say they have seen an improvement since the juvenile curfew on King Street went into effect.

Charleston Police started the curfew in June that doesn’t allow anyone under 17 to be anywhere in the Central Business District, between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. They said they have arrested or cited six individuals since the curfew started on June 27.
