North Charleston, South Carolina. Two males were detained Monday following a chase with deputies that resulted in the finding of a modified handgun, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
Paeton Martin and Braxton Brown were detained and charged with unlawful possession of a machine gun.
According to the incident report, deputies were patrolling Ingleside Boulevard near Weber Road when they noticed two automobiles participating in what they described as street racing. Deputies then attempted to pull over one of the vehicles involved, a blue Nissan Altima, and while the suspect’s vehicle reportedly came to a stop, deputies witnessed the driver and front seat passenger changing seats before fleeing the area…
