North Charleston police nab 2nd suspect connected to mid-August attempted armed robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — North Charleston police have arrested a second suspect in connection with an attempted armed robbery that occurred in August.

Detectives identified the suspect as 24-year-old Dante Kendall Bailey Jr. Police said Bailey was already in custody at a detention center on an unrelated charge when investigators linked him to the August 18 incident in the 4200 block of Rivers Avenue.

Bailey is charged with attempted armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Another suspect, 37-year-old Kenneth Gary Brown Jr., was arrested on Aug. 30 and also charged with attempted armed robbery…
