Man who impersonated officer in viral Sullivan’s Island video sentenced

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A man arrested in connection with a viral video from earlier this year will not serve jail time for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

Sean Michael Johnson, 34, was sentenced to three years of probation and 200 hours of community service at Seacoast Church, according to court records. Johnson was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and breach of peace after a video showed him arguing with a driver on Sullivan’s Island.
