Multiple checks were reported falsified after using the Mount Pleasant USPS mailbox

Mount Pleasant, South Carolina — According to Mount Pleasant Police Department investigations, a USPS site has been linked to a number of check fraud cases.

A total of approximately $35,000 was stolen from several persons in 2025 alone, with reports still being unearthed.
