Roper St. Francis doubles Berkeley County hospital size to meet rising healthcare demands

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Roper St. Francis Healthcare is expanding its footprint in Berkeley County, doubling the size of its hospital in one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing regions.

Six years after opening Berkeley County’s first full-service hospital in 45 years, Roper St. Francis continues to rank among the area’s busiest medical facilities. The upcoming expansion will add thousands of square feet, new services, and more beds to meet growing demand.
