CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Emergency crews were called to a portion of King Street Friday afternoon to investigate what they describe as a “possible roof collapse,” according to the Charleston Fire Department.
The reported collapse happened at 1001 King St. On the scene, emergency crews noted damage on the exterior walls of the vacant building. The crews then worked to isolate the area, including the outdoor patio of Rodney Scott’s BBQ and a small nearby apartment building, according to emergency officials.
