CHARLESTON, S.C. — Charleston County Aviation Authority police filed a report Thursday describing a profanity-filled confrontation involving Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) at Charleston International Airport.
Officers said they were scheduled to escort Mace to her flight at 6:30 a.m., but she arrived late and entered through a different area. According to the report, Mace began shouting at officers, calling them “f—ing incompetent” and claiming, “This is no way to treat a f—ing U.S. Representative,” while comparing her treatment to that of Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.).
Police wrote that Mace continued cursing as she walked through the terminal and while waiting at the gate. A Transportation Security Administration supervisor told officers he was “very upset” and that agents would file their own report about her behavior…
