BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — The identities of two victims killed in two separate fires in Berkeley County were released by county Coroner Darnell Hartwell on Wednesday afternoon.
Leroy Johnson Jr., 83, died outside a camper that was on fire on Merrell Avenue in Bonneau, Sunday at 5:38 a.m. Then on Wednesday, Susan Umphlett Landes, 68, from Moncks Corner, died at the scene of a structure fire on Assembly Lane around 7:31 a.m., Hartwell said.
