In June 2025, the Invictus Task Force began investigating several Cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Elijah Nathanael Beebe, 22, was identified as a suspect. On November 5, 2025, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina arrested Beebe. He faces eight counts of felony second-degree exploitation of a minor. Beebe is being held without bond and is awaiting extradition to Alamance County, North Carolina.
The Invictus Task Force includes several North Carolina counties, the State Bureau of Investigation, and Homeland Security. The investigation is ongoing.
