MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – News 2 evening anchor Brendan Clark is celebrating a remarkable milestone on Monday, a 30-year career at WCBD-TV defined by dedication, award-winning reporting, and a deep connection to the community.
Clark first joined News 2 in 1995, bringing his passion for storytelling to the station as a news photographer not long after graduating from the University of South Carolina. He moved into the sports department a year later, serving as weekend sports anchor, and then landed the job of sports director from 2001 until 2008.
