CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A Johns Island property that has been in the same family for more than a century will remain undeveloped due to a conservation agreement.
The Lowcountry Land Trust announced the permanent protection of the 37-acre realty, which includes farmland, forested wetlands, and wildlife habitats.
The conservation of this property will protect two valuable habitats within the local landscape and ecosystem.
