LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — The Humanities Foundation announced Wednesday that they will once again be holding their annual Turkey Day Giveaway, which is a series of community food distribution events that provide Thanksgiving meals to families across the Lowcountry.
According to the foundation, with the ongoing uncertainty surrounding federal SNAP benefits and the rising cost of food, they will be working hard to make sure that no one goes hungry over the holidays.
