Crews to begin demolishing vacant King Street building with collapsed roof

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Crews are set to start tearing down a vacant building in downtown Charleston on Friday after the city approved around $610,000 for demolition to begin.

Charleston police and fire crews were called to 1001 King Street on Friday, Oct. 31, where the left side of a vacant building had partially collapsed.
