Deputies arrest man for trafficking methamphetamine during Summerville traffic stop

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A man is facing charges after the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said he was found with methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

Deputies were patrolling near Strathmore Road and Jedburg Road when they observed a vehicle that did not have its headlights on and had a defective brake light.

During the traffic stop, officials said the driver, 50-year-old David E. Myers of Bowman, immediately informed deputies that neither he nor his passenger had a valid driver’s license…
