CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The ribbon will be cut Monday for an interchange project on I-26 that is expected to reduce traffic congestion at the U.S. Highway 78 and Ashley Phosphate Road exits.
Local and state leaders will gather near the interchange to celebrate the completion of the Palmetto Commerce Interchange, which is located between the two major thoroughfares that often see heavy traffic entering I-26 during peak travel times.
