FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCIV) — Every Thanksgiving on Folly Beach, one local bar transforms into something more than a watering hole, it becomes a community dining room where anyone can walk in, grab a plate, and feel at home.
For two decades, Follywood Bar has hosted a massive, no-cost potluck where locals, regulars, and even out-of-state visitors contribute their signature dishes to feed whoever shows up. What started as a simple idea between the bar’s owner and his grandmother has grown into an annual ritual that draws people from around the country.
