North Charleston detectives arrest 2 in armed robbery investigation

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Detectives with the North Charleston Police Department arrested two people Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery investigation.

Officers responded to the area of Lambs Road and Dorchester Road on Nov. 23 after receiving a report that three men were chasing another man toward a 7-Eleven, according to information provided by the department.

The three men told officers they had been walking home from a grocery store when they were confronted and held at gunpoint, police said. One of the men reported that his friend was placed in a headlock and that a suspect pulled the trigger of a gun, which did not discharge…
