ICE arrests more than double in S.C. compared to last year’s totals

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have arrested more than 3,000 people in South Carolina this year, more than doubling last year’s total of less than 1,300 arrests.

Monthly arrest data shows a significant increase in enforcement activity throughout the year compared to 2024.

Of the 3,000 people arrested this year, about half have pending criminal charges. Just under half have criminal convictions. More than 300 people arrested have no criminal history.
