HANAHAN, S.C. (WCSC) — Hundreds of people lined the streets Saturday morning for the Hanahan holiday parade, undeterred by rainy weather.
Festive floats, school and community groups and Santa made their way through the parade route as children ran into the streets to collect candy. Families watched from under umbrellas as bright lights and large trucks passed by.
The parade began at Hanahan High School at 10 a.m. The route started on Murray Drive and then to Belvedere Drive and Loftis Road. From there, it went from Yeamans Hall Road to Murray Drive and ended back at Hanahan High School.
