This week, Charleston Police Department detectives executed two search warrants at homes on Congress Street and Simons Street. The searches were part of a multi-week investigation into illegal drug activity. Officers found illegal drugs and a firearm during the operation, which was led by the Special Investigations Unit.
Police arrested Jermaine Sammy Milligan, 42, and Deangelo Montez Simmons, 38, both from Charleston. They face charges including trafficking cocaine and fentanyl, and firearm offenses.
