NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Across the Lowcountry, more and more families and individuals are facing the harsh reality of experiencing homelessness.
While the crisis grows, one local ministry is making sure no one faces it alone. Seacoast Church’s Street Ministry travels directly into encampments, wooded areas, motels, and sidewalks several nights a week, bringing food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and compassionate support to people who often go unseen.
“I know that sometimes those meals are the only meal that they may have for that day,” one volunteer shared.
