CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston’s historic 10-term mayor, Joseph P. Riley Jr., who was in office from 1975 to 2016, plans to release a memoir in January 2026.
The book, titled “Windows on Washington Square,” is an inward look at Riley from his own view. After 40 years in public life, Riley plans to look back and analyze the moments that shaped both the city and himself.
A hardcover version of the book is slated for Jan. 6, with a public launch event at the Dock Street Theatre planned for later in the month…
