JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston city leaders approved the use of greenbelt funds Tuesday to preserve a 580-acre wildlife refuge on James Island permanently.
The Dill Sanctuary, managed by The Charleston Museum, lies adjacent to the Stono River off of Riverland Drive.
