NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — The North Charleston Police Department said a youth’s charge has been upgraded after he allegedly killed a woman in connection with a November shooting.
The youth, whose name was not released because of their age and was originally arrested for attempted murder on Dec. 3, is facing a charge of murder in addition to other charges, according to jail records.
Officers responded to the shooting on Nov. 26 at the 5900 block of Rivers Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the youth with the gun. The woman was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries this week…
