CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — An attorney representing the family of Charleston County inmate Mary Brucato says they will be filing a lawsuit by the end of January to hold those accused of wrongdoing in her death accountable.
Attorney Mark Peper said the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and its medical provider, VitalCore, will be named in the lawsuit related to Brucato’s August death inside the county jail.
