Berkeley Co. deputies charge woman who parents accuse of abusing their toddler

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCSC) — A woman accused by a family of abusing their child went before a judge on Thursday in bond court in Berkeley County.

A Berkeley County judge said 23-year-old Alexandria Kyra Freeman is charged with placing a child in unlawful risk or harm.

The judge gave her a $10,000 surety bond, and she could face 10 years in prison if convicted.
