CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – With Christmas approaching, the City of Charleston will be adjusting its service schedules in observance of the holiday. This will affect city offices, garbage and trash collection, recreation facilities, and the municipal golf course.
Here are the schedule changes announced by the City of Charleston:
City offices
- Closed beginning at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24
- Closed Dec. 25 and Dec. 26
Garbage and trash collection
City Crews
- Normal collection through Dec. 24
- No collection on Dec. 25
- Thursday routes collected on Dec. 26
Trident Waste – Johns Island and Outer West Ashley
- Normal collection through Dec. 24
- No collection on Dec. 25
- Thursday routes collected on Dec. 26
- Friday routes collected on Dec. 27
