SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — As holiday travel picks up across the Lowcountry, Berkeley County deputies are increasing patrols in and around Summerville ahead of a busy travel weekend.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says it is teaming up with the Summerville Police Department to address traffic complaints, which deputies say remain the number one issue they hear from residents, especially during high travel periods.
