MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – Chief Lee Mixon confirmed his resignation Friday from the Moncks Corner Police Department, marking the end of his tenure leading the town’s law enforcement agency.
In a statement released via social media, Mixon said he is grateful for the opportunity to have served as police chief and plans to spend the coming weeks reflecting on his next steps.
“As many of you are aware, I have left or am leaving the Moncks Corner Police Department,” Mixon said. “I am grateful for the extraordinary opportunity to have served as Chief of Police.
