Summerville woman accused of harassing children at playground, indecent exposure

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A Summerville woman was arrested Saturday after authorities say she exposed herself and attempted to restrain children at a neighborhood playground, according to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested and charged Laura Elizabeth Warwick, 36, with kidnapping, two counts of indecent exposure, and simple assault following the incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were dispatched Saturday to a reported civil disturbance at Haven Oaks Apartments. While deputies were en route, dispatchers advised that Warwick had fled and was last seen at a nearby Dollar General on Orangeburg Road…
