NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Newly obtained 911 calls paint a grim picture of events in the lead-up to the death of 53-year-old Raymond Prince.
According to the coroner, Prince was found unresponsive on Elder Avenue following an assault that occurred at 6:18 a.m. on Elder Avenue. However, a 911 caller said she was awoken to the sound of gunshots and “someone” allegedly getting beaten up moments before authorities arrived on scene.
“The guy is screaming that he’s going to kill him,” one caller stated. “The shots woke us up. Once we got up, we heard the guy being dragged through the woods, saying, ‘you’re going to kill me, man. You’re really going to kill me?'”…
