While it may look simple, the Lantern Hip system is giving surgeons real-time data during surgery, helping patients recover faster and reducing complications.
Novant Health East Cooper is among just a handful of hospitals nationwide to launch the Lantern Hip system. Unlike traditional tools, this handheld device is physically attached to the patient’s leg after the new hip is placed.
