S.C. man’s estate receives nearly $1M payout after wrongful death lawsuit

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Complications from an epidural injection led to a wrongful death suit against MUSC in Charleston and ultimately a payout by the state’s insurance reserve fund, court records show.

The estate of William Bowen received a settlement of $975,000 from the South Carolina Insurance Reserve Fund.
