Warming shelters open Monday, Tuesday nights due to colder temperatures

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – With temperatures set to drop across the Lowcountry, warming centers will open their doors for those who need a warm place to sleep.

Seacoast Church Summerville will open its warming center at 301 East 5th North Street on Monday and Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. The shelter entrance and bus stop are located at the back door facing Gum Street.

Those without adequate heat or who may be experiencing homelessness can find a safe place to sleep, enjoy a meal, and take a hot shower if needed…
